    I try to change the lay-out settings for Dutch (that is an additional langauge for the portal).

    I am unable to change the text for Layout text and System Emails.

    Opt In Email Module Configuration -> Layout Settings.

    I can change & save the en-US versions, Saving the nl-NL text kepps bringing back the original en-US versions, not saves are done.

    I was a little premature on my conclusion: once I changed 1 text, I cannot change any other text in another language anymore.
    I see that the text is saved in the table ModuleSettings, is there a problem in matching or setting the language identification ion the settings key?
    Also, settings value is nvarchar(2000). Does this give a problem with large text sections?

    Ernst - Hi... I know we have shared a few emails too (to say the least ) but this will be a good follow up thread if there is a bug related to this issue at all.

    A few comments / questions...
    1. Does it save if you choose 'Basic Textbox'? Sometimes the Rich Text Editor doesn't save if AJAX is enabled but it always should if you choose Rich Text Box
    2. Yes - It does appear that the settings for these templates are using the module settings tables. I agree that this is limiting if your template if larger then 2000 characters. I don't think that this has come up before because the page is split into many templates (such as header, footer, etc...) so 2000 characters has been ok in the past I believe. I think in time though this is limiting and we will want to have our own tables for these templates.

    If I swicth back to basic textbox, it does work, the save does save the text as entered..

    OK That is a solution or now...
