    Can somebody explain me who does DSSession works?
    I need to use a shorname of a text question in a query, and I know the only way is using the variables DSSession1, ..3.

    Do I have to replace the shortname of the question with DSSession? (is not working for me)

    And also I need to use the value of that textbox in a question event type (, setting a new question value though sql driven.

    Something like this (is a test):
    Select email as DefaultValue from aa_sup_form_results where name=$(questiontextvalue)

    Hi, this would not work with textbox fields. You cannot use SQL query with a textbox field in the "where" clause. TO perform this, you would need to break it into two modules with one module on top of the other. If you can do it this way, then I can quickly walk you through the procedure. This methodology has also been discussed in another forum post in Dynamic Forms. -- David To
