    I've used the Dynamic Registration forms with the RSVP code to automatically add roles.  Is there a way -  which I know it's a validation - but how can I deny submission of a Dynamic Form unless they input a certain answer on a text field?

    Example:

    RSVP Code:  empty text box      (Required field)
    (that needs the RSVPCode before submission)

    Hidden Field:  RSVPCode -  Code

    Would I create a SQL statement under the Regular Expression or Validation are of the Empty Text Box?

    Hope this makes sense

    HI, you use SQL Validation on the text box field and return IsValid = 1 if it passes and the form will get submitted or return IsValid = 0 if it does not pass and the form will not get submitted. I hope this answers your question.

    You can use a straight SQL select statement or create a stored procedure for this SQL validation. -- David To

    Thanks -  I found a demonstration on how to hide the submit button using   - it works great!! Thanks - i'll have to try the SQL Validation also.

    • To display the form  submission button, we use the same HTML function call to showhtml/hidehtml that we previously used in the first client event.
    • Setup a standard textbox field, under advanced field options specify this client event within the client event property.
    •  if ( $(RSVPCodeonkeyup).toUpperCase() == 'code')
              {
                    showhtml('SaveForm')
              }
      else
              {
                     hidehtml('SaveForm')
              }
