The PayPal integration sounds excellent. We need that more for event registration than anything else, where a field could be marked as "Premium" or "Fee Required" and then assigned a price. If the user selects that field it adds it to the total on submit, takes them to PayPal where they process the transaction. Being able to select a quantity here would also be important.
The way we use the services area is for subscriptions, but we would like the user to see all of the subscriptions along with their profile and manage them on a single page.
For example, we offer different email hosting packages, Free, Standard and Premium. The users should be able to subscribe to a package from their profile screen. Now we may be integrating that with the Ventrian Subscription manager and displaying that on the registration page. We are waiting for an enhancement to that module to take care of recurring subscriptions. If we do that having access to the services area would still be important so people could manage other public role settings.
