    Is it possible to change the submit button text to change depending on the value of a hidden field?

    For example I have a form that can Save, Update and Delete a record. The form know which sql event to run by a hidden field retrieving the value form the URL (sql=delete). I would like to dynamically change the text of the button depending on the sql value.

    Hi Benjamin,

    There is no direct way to do this within the module itself... You can use a client side event and ultimately change this... the Save / Submit link itself does have an ID so you could use the 'Initial JavaScript' to change the text or link text via the initial javascript (after maybe checking the value of a hidden field or some other type of trigger) but we have not setup a demo or anything for this. In the future we might be able to have a token which could render the ID such as $(SubmitFormField) or $(SubmitFormField_ID) and that way you could easily reference that in Initial JavaScript. This is not currently a feature the module offers though. If you needed something added outside of our standard release schedule or something coded for you now via the Initial JavaScript you can do this by picking up some Premium Support hours at http://www.datasprings.com/Premium-Support.
