It appears that the Data Grid Field cannot handle form verification; I am unable to make a DGF a "required" field.
I thought I would try making a hidden text field that would be populated by the values in the DGF via a Client Side Event when a user adds a row to the DGF. That way I could make the hidden field required so that if a user did not add a row to the DGF, I could generate an error message upon validation.
The problem is that I cannot find out how to access the value(s) in a DGF in order to put them into the text field. I tried using the format, $(DataGridName) to access the values without success. How can I do this?
