CSS override issue with date field

    Hi there,

    I've found a minor issue in 15668_0_DataSprings_DynamicForms_Module33_61_DNN45PLUS

    With the date field type, in the Look - Feel settings, the width setting doesn't work. Other fields gain an inline style attribute when a value is inserted. This field doesn't

    And in the same section, the Field style override for the date field also doesn't work in the same manner as with other field types. It fails to put the name into the class attribute for the input field.

    Hi Rob,

    Thanks for your feedback. This is on our list to test for future builds and we should be able to have a fix out with future versions.

    You might also check out Demo 28 at http://www.datasprings.com/formdemos. I think there are other powerful date options (specifically the jQuery Date Implementation). This might be able to provide more powerful then the standard date field etc...

    Aha I see.. I didn't realise it had quite so many variations. I think the first one with the dropdowns will suit the site.

    Just a quick question about the JQuery ones...
    The page there says to inject some script from jqueryui.com.

    Is this still required in the current version of Dynamic Forms, or are the relevant bits now included by default?

    Hello Robax,

    This isn't included in Dynamic Forms, you will need to get a script injector module and place it on the same page in which you wish to place jQuery functions on dynamic fields. You can visit http://www.snowcovered.com and use the search to find script injectors. There are a few free modules and also ones you will have to pay for.

    Once you have installed your script injector and loaded that module onto your page that will use jQuery you will add the files to your server and use the path to these files within your script injector.

    Then you can go into your Custom Javascript tab in Module Configuration and add the  initial javascript which is in essence calling the jQuery functions.
