    Greetings,

    We need to be able to print each form submisson as the form is submitted.

    Is this possible using Dynamic Forms?

    This is not a possible feature in Dynamic Forms, however this functionality could be accomplished with our Tailored Text/HTML module. Please review the capabilities this module possesses by visiting this link.

    Thanks but this is not going to work for us. I am creating a several very involved forms that are going to be used as an interim process for collecting Police Evidence and property data. Dynamic Forms has allowed us to create the forms with minimal coding. We are sending this critical information via email but need to print out the form submission at the end of the process.

    Any ideas are appreciated.

    Hey Todd,

    The Tailored Text option is the solution we offer if you want to get the user to a page with their form results and get it printed out right there.

    However, Dynamic Forms also offers a PDF option which can be attached or linked from an email and you can print from here.  You can either email this to your admins or just cc your admins to the email sent to the user.  Please visit our Form Demos and check out Demo # 22 and see if this will work for you.

    I am using the pdf option to attach to the email but really need to print at the end of the form submission. How do the form results get passed to the tailored text module?

    Hi Todd,

    You would need to use SQL Binding for this. I don't have the exact SQL you would want but you can check out demo 13, 14, and demo 21 for some examples with a query at http://www.datasprings.com/formdemos. If you need us to write the query for you this can be handled via Premium Support hours which you can pick up at http://www.datasprings.com/Premium-Support. I think Demo 13 might be the best reference though because this doesn't require you storing the data into a flat table... Then you just replace the $(Tokens) in your HTML module and you there is also a $(PrinterFriendly) token you can use.
