Hi there,
I'm trying to increase the height (size) of the listbox to more then the default 4 rows. I've tried the various rows and height settings, but none of them stick.
Any advice is appreciated.

HI, you may need to use styleheet class for this. I believe there's a style sheet class for combobox. Go to Module Configuration / StyleSheet and choose option Use Custom Dynamic Forms Style Sheet" and there should be stylesheet class for combobox. You can add height properties here. -- David |

Thanks for the reply David, I tried it with CSS yesterday and it didn't work, but just now, on a simple html page, it is working, so I'll give it another go with that. Should be fine. Regards Rob |

This doesn't appear to work as the size attribute for the listbox appears to be hardcoded to 4. Is there anyway to change this value? |

Hey here is a solution to this ... or at least this is what worked for me: Under module configuration in the control panel go to the 'Custom Javascript File' section and in the initial javascript box enter the following code modified for your form: document.getElementById(the client id of the control).style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById(the client id of the control).style.height = '600px'; <- or whatever height you want document.getElementById(the client id of the control).style.display = 'block'; This should work in IE, FF, and Safari ... Hope this helps someone ... |
