    Hi,
I'm having some trouble with a client side calcuation.  When a checkbox is checked, I want to reduce the value in another textbox by 1/2.  Here is what I have in the checkbox event box:

    $(MembershipPrice) = parseInt($(MembershipPrice)) / 2

This returns null (NaN) though, and not sure what I'm doing wrong.

    Thanks,
    Troy

    Hi Troy,

Not a javascript expert but try putting the same script in Initial Javascript from Module Configuration, Custom Javascript File.  Thanks!

Also, what you can do is set default value of 0 for the MembershipPrice field. This way, the calculation would return 0 initially and not be NaN (not a number) since it's not defined unless someone enters something in this field. -- David
