    Hi,

      I've had this problem since the beginning but now it has become a real pain since a lot of users have upgraded their Word version. Users can upload docx files, but if I try to download it a "page cannot be found" message is displayed. Doc files have NO problems, the "Save as" appears as usual but Docx files just gives the error. I have to use an ftp program to retrieve the file.

    I have DNN 4.9.0 and Dynamic Forms 2.7.4.  Thanks!

    Hi Eric,

    This is actually not something that is controlled by the module or even in DNN.  Please contact your hosting company and ask them to check your mime types to allow .docx file uploads.

    The docx files can be uploaded, but they can't be downloaded through the URL address. Would this be also a server configuration problem?

    Hi. Yes this would also be a server issue as the server and IIS need to be setup to download those types of files. You can test by going to admin, file manager and uploading a file there. Can you then reference that file and download it directly from the server?

    There could be other conflicts with running on such an old version of Dynamic Forms though, the 2.7 release is several years old now.
