    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to insert a token into a URL and place this all inside a text box on load. I'm trying to compose a redirect URL in a textbox before redirecting and I can't figure out how to insert the token.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Hi... If you are putting this into a hidden field you can use the feature to 'pass field via querystring' otherwise the new 3.4 release (just released today) will allow you to use field tokens directly in the URL itself.

    Hi Chad,

Let me explain further what I'm trying to do and perhaps you can tell me if it's possible. I have a dynamic form that looks up an ID number in a table and inserts it in a hidden field. I want to take that field and insert it into a URL that I will use as my redirect. I need to be able to specify where in the URL the ID will appear, then use this composed URL to act as the target for the redirect. Is this possible?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Well in the latest 3.4 release yes... I would check out demo 32 which we just posted which does something similar with a coupon code. Also in 3.4 you can include and reference $(tokens) directly in the redirection URL.

    Thanks,

    Chad
