I have a dynamic registration field called 'Birth Date' of type Date (free MM/DD/YYYY entry) for which I'm trying to create a Registration Completion Event.

When I select "BirthDate" in the Dynamic Field drop-down the form causes a refresh but nothing ever appears under the "User Response" area.  It seems like I should be able to choose a date to trigger this event.

My intention is to send users under 13 to a kids page.  Is there any way to use a comparison with a date to fire an event?

    Thanks,

    Dave

Umm... Ikes, not really. I believe completion events are setup to work with most field types but date fields/image fields/file upload fields. Even if we did enable it not sure we can set the event to do a comparison at the current time. Hmmm.... With source code this wouldn't be too hard to add, basically check that its > than a specific date etc... Ummm... Could use a checkbox 'Under 13'? Probably not your first choice but possible. Also, you could use a Dynamic SQL Event that would pass the fields/values into a stored procedure that would perform the logic and then maybe execute a insert/update statement to add the user to a 'Under 13' or 'Over 13 role'. You can then display certain pages only for that role?

I have the source code and have spent quite a bit of time customizing it. I am now convinced that the source code from the SnowCovered distribution is not the same version (3.0) as the included compiled PA that I bought. There appear to be many differences.

I sent an email yesterday and tried to post a new thread earlier today but still have not heard anything back. Please confirm that you have at least received the issue, I am working on a deadline.
