Advanced Captcha control doesn't show error next to control

    We are using the Advanced CAPTCHA / lanap control and noticed that it doesn't display the required text field below the CAPTCHA control. 

    We've tested the standard DNN CAPTCHA control and we see the error both above the form and below the control.  We then change the control to use the advanced CAPTCHA control (and mod the web.config file) and then only see the error above the form and not also below the control as expected.  We've tested this on multiple versions of DNN (including 5.5) with DF 3.40.1.0

    Hi Curtis.. Yes, the standard DNN Captcha control includes an ASP.NET validation directly on the control itself, the Advanced / LANAP Captcha control currently doesn't offer this feature (weird as you think it would). We really don't control the 'guts' of either of these controls though...

    I know this is a silly request but maybe DF could have text added to the section on the advanced control that has a note about this?

    In the admin section.  Possibly under the same note as the "modify web.config" message...or maybe even a grey out of the Question Validation /"required field error"  when the Captcha Field Type is changed ? Or both?  I guess I'm all about dumbing down the options for the user (me)
