Is there a way in the style sheet to set the default input field size and the text size separately? My client want's the input box to be a bit bigger than the text size. I've set the text size and the input field grows/shrinks to accomodate the text, but I need to control them separately.
Thanks.

Hi Troy,
How about you control the filed width? You can set the field width on the module level from Module Configuration. Or, you can do it for specific fields by going to Look and Feel while editing the field. Thanks!

Hi Candace What I'm trying to control is the height of the input box. Sorry, wasn't clear about that. Troy |

Hello Troy,
If you're interested in the height of the textbox, I would recommend using a multi-lined textbox, and just classify the amount of rows(basically the height) you would like.
If you have any questions please let me know.
Thanks,

Ryan. Thanks for the idea - I think that would work. My client, however, is very specific: they want to control the field input box down to the pixel level so that the space between the text and the top and bottom of the box is a) the same distance, and b) exactly X pixels. I can pick the font size - that's easy - but if I had two lines, the text would be top justified and the spacing wouldn't be even. It's a minor detail, I know, but I'm just trying to find a way to meet their specific requirement. Thanks again for your idea - I know of other places that I could use that. Troy |

Hello Troy,
In this case you will need to go into the source of the page and find the name of your control. Then you can add styles(height in pixels) to your field via module configuration CSS style section.
Please let me know if this helps you.
Thanks,
Ryan
