Now today when I send out emails a simple test with just myself on it, it says it failed, but I get the email, click to show images and no stats change and it still says it failed. Any ideas? |

All the sudden it is now only showing 5 items or so in the log, all without the body. I didn't check the box but it looks like the setting finally took , my clear import log link is still working but it looks like the log has been truncated. |

James, We recently found the issue to this and will need to add some enhancements into the Stats reporting area. Basically what we found out is that the 'Failed' statistics are only showing up for the entire failed table, meaning that the failed statistics are not failed just for the specific newsletter. So, the system checks the failed table and sees those emails so it shows them as failed. The reason this happens is because typically when a failed email exists it fails all of the time, this is usually if an email didn't have an @ symbol or missing a . etc.. What we found in some cases though is that it failed at one point because of another newsletter or maybe invalid email settings and so from then on for all newsletters it will verify and show the invalid failed email. So we need to change this to find only failed emails for this specific newsletter, this could be a query change however the problem here is that whenever an email is marked as failed we don't currently store the newsletterID so this is why we have to add the enhancement. Thanks, Chad |

Could you provide a query that can delete all failures for now, or can I just do it myself in one table?
One of my first runs, there was a smtp server issue, not allow 200 at a time, so everything failed. |

Oh... Yes, actually you should be able to clear them directly in the control panel under Reports for failed emails. Otherwise... DELETE FROM DataSprings_OptInFailedEmails Thanks, Chad |

Once I added that sp you posted: CREATE PROCEDURE [dbo].[DeleteScheduleHistory] @TypeName nvarchar(255) AS delete from ScheduleHistory where ScheduleID in (select ScheduleID from Schedule where TypeFullName=@TypeName) It now deletes, but the link says clear import log, should change that to clear log instead or something. |

Hello James,
Thank you for your input on the link, we can evaluate this and send it to our dev team to see if this would be a good implementation.
Thanks,
Ryan |

Hi James, Thanks for your input... Yes I agree that it should change. I think this area of code is/was also used in the Interactive User Import so its mislabeled when it was brought over. Ill have it fixed for the next release. Thanks, Chad |
