I have a question about the formatting on my website. Here is a link (http://property.bsasoftware.com/email.aspx). I'm looking to move the Subscribe button to the next line, and also line up the subscriber text box with my login button. Where can I do this?

I have the module on several portals, so I was worried about updating any of the ascx files on my own.

    Thanks,
    DL

I think you can do this in CSS. When you add the module to the page it creates a css file. For example:

OptInEmail_Module_1077.css ( PLease note that in my install I had to close the {} on some classes as they were not closed and were not working because of this.)

You can edit this in the settings of the list module.

The CSS class for the button is OptInEmail_ImageButton.

Now I am not sure if it will fix due to the "No wrap" on the TD, but I am sure someone who is better than me at css may have a solution, hopfully this gives ya some help.

I found that file, but no luck adding that CSS class. I wonder if it has something to do with adding it after a custom Extended Field? I would love more customization on this page.

    Thanks

I can confirm if you add that it does apply the style. For instance in IE if you bring up the devloper tools you will see the attribues applied to the object, only thing is that is is in a cell that has NOWRAP applied to it, which is why I think it will not drop down to the next, Wish I knew CSS better, any designers out there with any ideas:-)

One thing you can do if you want the subscribe below is use the Simple Opt in module. It does put the subscribe link on the bottom. Hope that helps.

    Hello James,

Thank you for your contributed knowledge with Opt In Email. This helps us out a great deal by allowing us to focus our time in other areas.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

    Hi DL,

There is no direct way to change this directly in the module without modifying the source code. There is a feature build into the module to ‘Display label and field in the same column’ and if you choose this option the field will be added under the textbox fields as you want (but so will the labels, they will not appear left to right).

Another option might be to use Dynamic Forms or Dynamic Registration where you have more control over the fields and the layout… I think you could accomplish the layout you are wanting for the initial subscription with Dynamic Forms where the input button would appear at the bottom. You can see how these can be integrated here:
    http://www.datasprings.com/Products....aspx#5807

There is also the option to have us modify the source code more specific to you but this would require Premium Support. You can find out more about our standard support and Premium Support at http://www.datasprings.com/Premium-Support.

    Thanks,

    -Chad
