Need to merge DynView and additional table

    Hi
    Hope you can help me with a query. I have used DynForms to capture bio information and have stored location information in another table using a different input method. There is a one to one relationship between bio and location info.
    I can get the Bio info with DynViews by selecting the DynFormsInstance (ModuleID: 398) but how do I merge the tables using custom query to get the related location info?
    eg. select * from module:398, LocationTable WHERE module:398.userid = LocationTable.userid.

    I struggle understanding how module:398 data is stored?
    Any help appreciated.

    Hello Paul,

    The easiest way to accomplish this is to make your Dynamic Form save into a flat table. Then use the Custom SQL Query option in your Dynamic View. Now in your custom query you will need to inner join your two tables based on the two like columns in different tables.

    Hello Paul,

    This is probably the best way to achieve the merging of multiple table. I would recommend using the instructions I provided above, for flat tables are the easiest ways to merge multiple tables when working with Dynamic Views.
