    Currently, list items (radio, checkbox) are position vertically or horizontally.

    Is there a way / could you consider a fluid layout option that would be controlled by CSS?

    Further, have you considered a completely customized layout option using templates and tokens?

    Lance

    I'm new to the module so if I missed these items in the forum or manual, please let me know where to look.

    Lance,

    Hi. Well the module does offer many features in regards to these field types:

    * Number per row (applies mostly to Checkbox Groups I believe)
    * Height (for listbox field types)
    * Width (for all field types)
    * Displayed vertically or horizontally
    * User custom stylesheet properties per question if you wished
    * Display label on field (checkbox fields) and align that label to left or right
    * Optionally hide field label
    * Display field on same row as previous question
    * Display field label and field in the same column

    We continue to review these features (just answered another post similar to this one). We do understand that ideally a 'free-form' Rich Text Editor where you plug and play form fields would be ideal (and we do use it in other modules such as Dynamic User Directory, Tailored Text/HTML, and so forth) but for the features of the forms and registration module enabling a feature like this would cause a significant impact on many of the features of the module (i.e. each field has properties for validation, example text, question header/footer, properties and postbacks, completion events, question events, etc...). We will continue to research in the future better ways to customize the layout.

    Hi Chad, thank you for the reply.

    I will add my voice then to those that call for full layout control.

    As per "Number per row", could you direct me to where this is controlled? I can't find it in the Question Layout options.

    Also, I think the label of the Nowrap option is misleading. It states "Word wrap field label" and "Would you like to wrap field labels? " yet selecting the option adds the nowrap attribute. The label suggests the opposite.

    Chad,

    Can you tell me where to find the "number per row" setting?

    Thanks,

    This is actually on each field level and is setup under the look and feel section. Since this post last September more features were added to be able to set the colspan and rowspan properties as well.

    The setting is actually 'Display row on same line as previous question'
