    I use google apps premier for my emails and am using opt in mail with the bounce back feature.  everything seems to be working fine and the bounce back does log in and check my emails.  however, the the bounced emails are not being registered by opt in module.  I believe the issue is that my email has a few thousand emails in the inbox.

    my question is this.  does bounceback start searching for bounced emails from the oldest first or the newest first?  when we put in a 200 or 1000 number on the bounce back for emails to check, does it only check the first 200 or 1000?  or does it do 200 or 1000 at a time until eventually it checks all emails?

    I know we should set up a separate email for checking bounce back such as noreply@domain.com.  However, I pay $50 per year per email and did not want to set up a new $50 a year email via google apps premier just for that.  I also would prefer not to have a separate domain email receive the bounce as I would like the user to see an email from my domain.

    any suggestions?

    I increased the range to 6500 emails to check and it still did not go through and picked up the bounced.

    Not sure what the - 313 means. any help would be appreciated.

    My entire mailing list is only 1k big so not too big. I think I received about 100 bounced responses in my email.

    I am using version 4.2.0.37825  and DNN version 5.05.01

    Hi Andre - Yes I believe it will read the first 'x' number, I might have to check the exact code but that is the reason why we recommend having it setup to delete previous messages and using a dedicated email system. It could be that you might also want to delete some emails yourself as well.

    You can enable logging and this might help if you view the logs, does it show how many emails its processing and when it finds a bounced email?

    i reviewed the logs for the schedule and do not see any deletions of bounced emails.

    I think the information below suggests that this "bundle" count may be off. is there a way I can reset this?

    Hmmmm... I am wondering where it is getting this number. I am wondering if maybe it only looks and unread messages. Maybe you need to have all of your emails set as unread?
