    When I visit a page with a Dynamic Forms module in Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), IE displays an error icon in the status bar. The error report is:

    Also, the drag and drop editing feature of Dynamic Forms does not work. Is this a known issue? Is there a work-around?

    This does sound like another issue in the Forums: DotNetNuke 5.1 Issue - Error: 'dnn.controls.toolbars' is null or not an object.

    Hi. Are you running multiple Dynamic Forms instances on the same page? I think there is a limitation with the drag/drop feature where you can only use the drag/drop feature if there is a single Dynamic Forms instance on the page.

    Does it work ok in FireFox?

    I don't have multiple instances of DF on this page.

    Originally, I did create a different page that did have two instances of the DF module. One that I created a form in and another that I imported a sample form from your site (to see how Grid View / Survey items were set up). This might have been when Drag and Drop stopped working, but I'm not sure how that page  (which now only has one instance of DF) would have affected this page.

    Drag & Drop does not work on any of the latest versions of IE or Firefox on Windows or Firefox, Chrome or Safari on the Mac.

    Chad, I have created an account for you on this site so you can edit this page and reproduce the problem there if you like. Please contact me directly via email and I will send you credentials.

    I am also getting this error in IE8.  Created a new page, added the Dynamic Registration component (4.0.60.0) and I get an"Error on page" in the status bar and it reports the null is null error.

    When I try it on Firefox 3.6.9, I don't get any script errors and the drag and drop appears, but the highlighted targets do not match where the mouse pointer is.  The hightlight row appears about 7 rows above the mouse.

    I found that the 7 rows misalignment between the mouse pointer and the highlighted target row was caused by a conflict in JavaScript attached to the default container.  When I change the container for the page, that did not included the dynamic menu bar, the problem of the mouse misalignment went away.

    The other problem of the null is null was already answered at
