    Dynamic Forms is a great product!  However, we really need a better way to export results.  I have a client who couldn't export survey results when there were only 430 rows (40 columns) without getting a timeout.  And this is with a hefty, dedicated web and DB server.

    There seems to be a lot of back-and-forth between the web and DB servers when generating reports that could probably be eliminated with some optimization.

    Hi Dave - Thanks for your feedback. We usually recommend other 3rd party modules that have better export / search/ sort routines such as OWS or our Dynamic Views module. Dynamic Views has a built in interface with Dynamic Forms and other powerful features such as unlimited search fields, exporting to excel, etc... This might be one option they want to consider.

    Another option is to review demo 14 and demo 21 at http://www.datasprings.com/formdemos. These highlight storing the data into a flat table which is much faster to retrieve the data from instead of the relational database tables.

    Hi Chad,
    so what you are saying is you want us to buy another one of your products to review the data collected through your product?
    im sorry but thats quite rough for your customers. i have used your product for our website and tested reasonably thoroughly prior to purchase. I have now however got around 40k records in this DB and there is no testing that can really test this failure in the product.

    I can not export ANY of this data from the front end of which we are running a webfarm and a sql cluster.

    any ideas on how we may be able to export this data?
