    Hi there,

    I've got Dynamic Registration set up to gather profile information, including an image. The image is associated with the Photo standard profile field. That works and I can display the uploaded image in other modules like Ventrian Property Agent, which I was trying to use as a directory at first

    Now I've set up Dynamic User Directory to display the same data and I'm having trouble getting the image.

    I find that I can get an image filename to show up when I use the [photo] token, however this only works in the details view. I can't get anythign other than the token itself to show in the list view.

    I'm sure the list view must allow for an image, but whart's the trick? Why wouldn't it use the same token?

    Another token I can see is [userimage], but this just displays a placeholder image, not the one uploaded in DynReg.

    And yet another token I can see listed in Dyn UD is [profilepicture], but this just displays itself as text, and no image.

    What is also odd is that the [photo] token, that only works in details view isn't listed at all in Dyn UD. I found it after reading some posts here in the forum and tried it to find that it at least half-works.

    Thanks for any advice on how to get the images working

    Ok it just gets weirder.

    After triggering the DynUD schedule repeatedly, restarting a few times, and then also giving the DynReg image field a different shortname, creating a new quickproperty with that and then restarting everything again, now I can see the missing [photo] token listed, but the new token I made [logoimage] is nowhere to be seen. funnily enough, the [photo] token whcih I thought I had removed, now works in both list and details view.

    I'm still keen to hear if anyone has a reliable solid setup for images in DynReg and Dyn UD. I'm finding this too flaky to work with at the moment.

    Hi Rob - Well this can be tricky but that's because there are MANY different methods and images from different modules out there so we tried to implement a system that allows for multiple options.

    A few key notes:
    1. Only profile properties under admin, user accounts, manage profile properties that are set to be 'visible' and that HAVE at least one records of data will appear with the DUD Pivot Table. The scheduler uses a pivot table and these are the requirements before a profile field will appear there.

    2. I didn't every see above that you menationed configuration what the [userimage] is truly there for. This DUD enhancement is managed under the module configuration for the user image and this is the same area you define the default image if the user doesn't have an image, if you want to enable a jQuery lytebox, if you want to have an alternate image for if the user is online or offline etc...

    Before the [userimage] was there the simple text of the image name would appear from Dynamic Registration when mapped to a profile field. The method to then setup images was to actually render an HTML IMG tag and point it to that image.

    We do have many customers that have (what I would consider) solid setup for user images so I am interested in your feedback.

    Hello,

    I have similar problem as Rob. When adding/changing the image via Dynamic Registration then only the image gets updated in Detail View and not in List View.

    I´m using the setup as described in:
