    Hi

We are using a dynamic form module set to https (donation form).  We are unable to export results in ie8, getting a message stating "unable to open this site".  In chrome it works.  Please let me know what the issue might be.

    Hi Ray,

I'm not sure that this has been previously reported so let me ask you a few questions.

    1.  Are you using a URL re-writer, by any chance?

    2.  Can you see if it also works for you using Firefox?

    3.  Firefox has an add on called Firebug that might help identify if there are any errors occurring that may not be visible in IE.

    Thanks,
    Candace

    1. Just the core dnn friendly url provider

    2. it does work in FF

    3. I dont use firebug.  Do you have a working example where i can go to a form you have set up on https and I can try to export the results in ie8?   If it is something pecular to the form we are using i will diagnose it, but i would like to see it work or have some type of confirmation that it works before i go down that road.  I suspect its an issue with the response headers, like mentioned here:  http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources...fault.aspx

    Hello Ray,

I have tried to test this in our test environment betasprings.com but unfortunately I'm unable to test the https on this site. However I can state that I didn't have an issue exporting results to Excel from IE8. Even though this may not be relevant since your issue resides in https.

Are you able to export the results in IE8 with http instead of https??

If you have any questions please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

    Hello Ray,

I have thoroughly tested this using IE8 and Dynamic Forms 3.4.3 export results to Excel.

Could you provide temporary host access? If so please email it to me at rbakerink(at)datasprings(dot)com.

I would be more than glad to login and take a look at the issue at hand. It sounds like there may be a conflict on the page of some sort or possibly the skin.

I don't know yet, and that's why it would be nice to login and find out what's going on.

If you have any questions please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
