    I have a sql completion event.

    exec ProfileInitialUpsert @UniqueCompletionID = '$(UniqueCompletionID)' , @EntryDate = '$(EntryDate)' , @ProfileNumber = '$(ProfileNumber)'

    However, when I debug the SQL, it says

    exec ProfileInitialUpsert @UniqueCompletionID = '', ...

    is there a setting I should be using to get the uniqueid seeded?

    Hello Steve,

    I would take another approach when passing the variables to the stored procedure.

    Perhaps this is the calling of the stored procedure

    exec ProfileInitialUpsert '$(UniqueCompletionID)', '$(EntryDate)', '$(ProfileNumber)'

    Then the stored procedure should look similar to this:

    ALTER PROCEDURE ProfileInitialUpsert
    (
      @UniqueCompletionID nvarchar(200),
      @EntryDate nvarchar(200),
      @ProfileNumber nvarchar(200)

    )

    AS

    BEGIN

    --The guts of your stored procedure goes here

    END

    If you have any questions please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
