Hi all, I'm hyaving major issues with the opt-in email. At first it wouild send the email but the images would not show up. I tried playing with the settings but the only way to get the imgaes to show was to hard code them, not a great solution for our users. Now, after playing with it for a while it will no longer send the message. When I send a new email it the subject line comes in but that's it. There is no body of the message, even if the body is simply "this is a test." I have no idea how to make it work. I'm using the latest version with the CK Editor. The problem is the same in IE and FF.

Isn't it funny how you figure it out just after you ask for help. The problem was the tag that I entered to try to fix the image problem. I copied it directly from the user guide and just change the path to my portal but it didn't work. Once I removed that the email will send but I still can't get the images to show. :-( |

Hello Skadera,
Can you please let me know what method of using photos? Are you using img tags? If so can you please let me know the path of the images that you're trying to pull in??
Give me all of the information you can relevant to one of the images that you're trying to pull in, this will help me greatly in finding the issue.

thanks for the reply, I think I have it working now.
I have the "Do not replace images with full portal alias:" checked and in the email header box i put this:
Note, the example in the user gudie shows that you have to have the opening and closing tags.
Now if I can figure out how to style the email I'll be all set. :-)

You will be able to style your email with HTML and CSS which is more than enough to get the look you want.
