Hi,
I am using dynamic login 4.0 and Dynamic Registation on my home page. At times, not all of the time, when I log in and click the login link, I get a continue link and when I click that I get a dotnetnuke page not found error.
There are also times when I enter my username and password and just hit enter without clicking the login link but instead of logging me in it submits the dynamic registration form which of course is empty which then enforces validation and throws up an error.
I don't recall this happening prior to upgrading to DL 4.0 but I can't have my users getting a dotnetnuke page not found error.
I turned off facebook connect thinking that this had something to do with it but still have problems.

Hi Carl,
That's a little strange so let me ask a few questions.
1. Can you tell if there's a difference between the successful logins and the those that get the continue link?
2. The continue message is likely coming from the Role Rules. Please go to the Control Panel, Security Role Rules and make sure that the Additional Message is blank. Even if it looks blank, please click on the Source at the upper left corner of the editor and clear out any characters in there.
3. Do the same for the Security Role Group Rules.

Hey Candace
Ok I had a user notification set-up for my login which explains the continue button. Thanks for pointing that out. I deleted the notification but if I wanted to use it -- When I click the continue button, it redirects back to the same page, my home page but dnn puts up a page not found error even though its just the home page.
Also, what about when I hit enter after I put in my username and password instead of clicking the link, it submits the DR form, but only sometimes. I don't have submit on enter selected in the form.

Hello Rheebo,
If you use Firebug in Firefox browser when this error occurs can you please let me know if you see any errors being instantiated??
Also I would make sure that you have your redirection URL correct if you have one. Perhaps you're passing a Dynamic Token value across the URL if not I'm sure it has to do with a URL that isn't getting passed correctly.
When you get the DNN 404 error(page not found) can you please copy the link into this forum thread so I can look at your URL.
