I may have missed something here but I have one form but want to do two separate events on it depending on what the user wants to do.

I have one completion event which redirects to another form and passes the necessary session parameters in fine and I can use them in this other form fine.

However my other event has to go to a different/separate form so I am using an HTML field with a link in it to the other form. However when you go to this form the same session parameters do not appear to be passed in. Is this because I am using an HTML link rather than a competion event? I assumed you can pass session parameters between forms even if you are not using Completion events.

Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Beccy, I think it sounds like the session vars haven't been submitted to the session before the user clicks the html link.

You have to first submit the form in order to populate the session vars, by the user clicking a link on your form means the form doesn't get submitted.

    Hello Beccy,

Adam's right, please make sure that the form is submitted so the session variables are created and rendered. THe method in which session variables get built is based off of form submission, not a redirection, refresh of the page, etc..

If you have any questions please let us know.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
