    I am currently using Opt In v4.2.

    When a user view the Newsletters, some of the default CSS files are changing the formatting of the Newsletters.

    Do you have any suggestions that would help me prevent this?

    In my opinion I think the best solution for this would be to wrap either the entire module or just the displayed Newsletter in an iFrame.

    This would isolate the Newsletter from all of the site's styles and give an accurate representation of the Newsletter.

    It would be Ideal if the Archive module could be updated to simply do this.

    If there isn't support for this then It could probably be done on the site in a less elegant way.

    Hi. Thanks for your feedback and suggestions... since the iframe would still need to pull the content from the database and so forth (and therefore still existing in DNN which might be pulling styles and so forth) I am not really sure the iframe route would work. Maybe on the specific page you are using the Previous Newsletter module on you could choose to use a skin or container that removes/doesn't use most of the style options? Or you could ideally (since the newsletter module allows you to choose both a personalized and non-personalized version) use class names for areas of the newsletter so that you can properly format it?

    Hi Chad,

    I did some testing with the "Less Elegant" way.
    I added the Archive Module to the page.

    I created and applied a blank skin.  No menus etc.
    I added the following script to the blank page skin:

    <s cript type="text/javascript">
    jQuery('link[rel=stylesheet]').remove();
    <!--s cript>

    Hopefully it will display.  I added spaces in the word script.

    This basically removes all stylesheets.

    I then displayed the Archive page on another page using an iframe.

    Like I said, Not elegant.

    I think by loading the contents along with the script in an iframe you should be set.

    The reason the iframe is key is that it allows you to apply the jQuery to just the iframe contents and not affect the rest of the page on which this is displayed.
