I have a form that users can 'save' and come back later with the rest of the information. The form saves and the $EditLinkUrl and $EditLink are sent in the email. The problem is that clicking on these links only seems to take me to the Thank You page - not the data. I have tried this logged in as the user who created the form and as Host. Please help - I need this feature to work. Thanks, Carole  |

Hello cmartin,
Sounds like you have a display after initial save message created.
I would suggest disabling this display after message and just redirect to a page just for "Thank You". Basically the way that feature works is that the same module, one the form is submitted, it gets replaced with the display after message template you created.
So just create a new page for the Thank you and your Edit link should start working.

It goes to a "thank you" page already.
The editlink does not work - it just takes you to the "Thank You" page.

DNN version 5.6.1
No "display after initial save' has been setup - it redirects to a "thank you" page.
Really need some help on this one - the site is ready to go live and I need to get this feature working.

To get this addressed in a more timely manner, can you go to our test site www.betasprings.com and create a test page in which I can jump in and make the needed modifications. Try to build an example that reflects your situation.

This is still a BIG problem.
I have a form that relies upon the visitor being able to come back to the site and complete the form at a later date. The only way they can do that is by using the 'edit' link.
I recreated the setup on BetaSprings on a page called edit/link.
Can someone please check this for me? Betasprings does not send email so I could not check to see if it works there. You must have a test lab somewhere that you can test this on... please help!

The page is called 'editlink' on the betasprings site. Since this site does not sent email it is difficult to test - the link is only visible to me via the email.
I can give you access to a development site I have setup - it does send email and the link does not work - but I would prefer to send you the login info in a private email if possible.

Please - anyone - I have to either get this feature working or tell the client that this module does not work as advertised....
I have created a duplicate on Betasprings and I have a development site you can test on....
