    Hello there,

    I'm trying to import subscribers into a list (some subscribers already exist, and subscribed to other lists) using the CSV import method.  I get the message "X record(s) imported successfully" but the subscribers have not been added to the selected list (both newly created subscribers and existing subscribers).

    Version: 4.2.0.11606 / 5.6.2

    Has anyone else encountered this or have a solution?

    Hi Mark,
    Can you please provide more details about your list. Maybe even provide us with your import file so we can see how it works on our end. Right now I would like some more info so at best I can also work with other support people here that may know more about opt in email.     Hi. I know that the 4.3 release had many other updates related to imports so maybe this was an issue or something only on 4.2. The problem is (and still might be) that if the email address at one time existed within the database and they ever 'Opted Out' then those users would be skipped. Normally you would never want to add a subscriber back to a list if they had opted out before. If this is not the case then I would probably setup a quick demo showcasing this problem on our test site at www.betasprings.com (sign in as host/dnnhost) and one of our developers can review it.

    Hi Chad,

    Thanks for the reply. What I was able to do to get this working was the following:

    1. Create a new list.
    2. Import the subscribers into that list (even though they already exist but not in the that list).
    3. Delete the existing list
    4. Rename the new list to the deleted list

    What has me confused is when we initially imported the subscribers no one was assigned to the newly created list (this goes for both newly created subscribers and existing subscribers)
