I don't know whether anyone can help but I have two Combo Boxes on a form. The second is hidden and is shows the results from a sql statement based on what is selected in the first combo box.

The first combo box is also a result from sql after what is queried on a previous page.

If the first combo box has more than one value you click on a row and the second combo is displayed with a set of values based on what I have clicked.

The issue I have is that if the first combo box has only one row, it will not trigger and display the second combo box, even if you click on the row displayed.

Is there a way of triggering this with only one value or forcing a click event so the second combo box fires up.

    Hi Beccy,

This sounds like the dependent dropdowns we showcase in Demo 11 in our Form Demos:
    http://www.datasprings.com/products...nstrations

Typically, you can trigger the question event to display the 2nd combobox by setting a default value on the 1st. However, it sounds like the value from the first dropdown is also dynamic based on a previous page.

You might consider adding a -Please select- at the top which would force them to click on the opton. Something like this:
select '-Please select-' As QuesitonOption, '-1' As QuestionOptionValue
    Union All
Select Text As QuestionOption, Value As QuestionOptionValue FROM Lists where listName ='yourListName'

    Thanks,
    Candace
