I am trying to integrate DR with the OptIn module. It works great for sign-ups, but doesn't seem to work at all for Cancellations (i.e. if the user's account is canceled via DR, the Optins don't get automatically removed). Apparently I need to create a completion event that runs some sql to remove the optins upon cancellation of membership, but I'm not sure the best way to do it. The only way I know of to match up my DR user to the Optin Email row is via the email address. However, I don't want to require only 1 registration per email address, so this gets a little dicey. Is there a way to use DR to retrieve a user's OptinEmailID upon initial registration, and store that in DR, then use it to delete the entries upon registration cancellation? Thanks!

PS - you might be having an issue with your forums. I tried to submit this yesterday (using Firefox), but after hitting submit, I just got a blank 'Create New Topic' page again, and my post never showed up. Tried it again this morning w FF again, and same thing. I'm trying it now with IE...

Apparently the posting problem is with FF - I'm using v 3.6.3.

    Hi Anne,

Thanks for your comments... I am not sure about the posting problem, we are running on FireFox here as well but I will keep an eye out.

As far as cancellation, the only real option I would know would be to use the SQL event to fire upon completion as you mentioned... Typically there would only be a single email address associated with an Opt In Email subscriber. I don't think the built in integration even allows for multiple emails to be associated with Opt In Email with the same email address.

    Thanks,

    -Chad
