Non Admin can not send email?

    Hi,

    just bought and installed the opt-in module.
    Now I'm trying to set this up for my client, he can not have the Administrator Role (he has a custom role PageEdiror)

    When he tries to access the page with the "Opt In - Advanced Email" module
    an unexpected error occurs. he is not able to send an email.  he can access the control panel of the module.

    When I (being the Host) give him temporarely the Administrator role he can access it having no problem at all.

    Can this be solved?

    Hi Oliver,
    This message is cropping a little in the forum so I may be missing some things.
    Sounds like you are getting the error described when he has admin role.
    I wonder if you make a custom role in the system
    that is different from admin then apply that role to the page the module is on and
    add that role to this user and then see if it works for this user or do you still get same error? If so it isn't because he has admin role.

    Is role applied at page or at module level. I set up role at page level and set module so inherits role of page it is on. Setting for this is in module settings. That might help.

    Let us know if you try these things and still have problems.

    Hi,
    The issue is solved, I had to assign the new role "change" to the opt-in list (which was admin before)
    Still, this should not cause an unexpected error. When no previous newsletters found for the role a nice message can inform the user.
    Still... it's a verry impressive module, with lots of features and I'm glad i bought it.
