    Hello,

I have a Simple Opt-In module on my site, and whenever a user clicks the submit button, the DNN news module disappears.

When you click to go back or what not, everything comes back to normal.

This is very weird because no other content on the page disappears, just that one DNN News module.

I checked out the scripting, and there is an HTML tag
that displays the DNN News content, but after you click submit, that tag is no longer there.  Once again, when you continue, it comes back like nothing out of the oridinary.

Could the simple opt-in module be hiding this tag by accident?

As an added piece of information, both modules are in the same pane on the page.

    Thanks,
    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Thanks for your comments... I don't think there is anything our module would be doing for this. Is the DNN news module actually the DotNetNuke core module or a 3rd party module? I ask because its very likely that its not directly related to Opt In Email itself but rather a bug in the news module that would not properly display news after a postback on the page. Most of our modules would have a redirect or something after a postback (but not all, there are plenty of modules that stay on the page after a postback).

Do you have any other modules of ares? You could try out Dynamic Forms (trial even) and just don't set a redirect page for a form. Add a few fields and then click Submit... Does the news disappear then too?

    Thanks,

    Chad
