Hi,
DNN v6.1.1 PE
DR: v4.1.43.27717
We have some question events setup on a checkbox lists which when selected shows additional questions. The problem is, when the user goes to amend their registration, the checkboxes are selected correctly but the additional questions aren't shown. I guess we'd need the form to check and fire any events on loading. Is there a setting for this somewhere or something we can do as we really need this to work this way.

Hi Dan,
Just a couple quick comments...
1. I would me sure and upgrade to the very patch (should be .71 I believe).
2. If you have not mapped the field to a DNN profile field I would reccomend doing that as well.

Hi Chad,
We've installed .70 as this seems to be the latest from the patches on SC.
The checkbox list field is mapped to a DNN profile field of type List. The DR form field has the entries manually added to them to match the DNN field list items. The correct checkboxes are checked on load but the hidden questions (which are also mapped to DNN) aren't shown. We have to uncheck and the check them again for the questions to show.

Hi Dan,
We have not had any other reports of this as far as I know, but I am thinking one possibility might be the "List" option. Can you try and map this to a profile property that is a text box profile property? I have notified in the past that the way DNN saves these profile properties can be very different from the standard text box one and this could cause a conflict when it trying to update the field.
Let me know if this fixes you up, and if not please try and create a small example/demo that highlights your problem at www.betasprings.com (you can sign in as host/dnnhost). If you can replicate/duplicate the problem there we can usually get a patch out much quicker.

Hi Chad, I've setup a simple for here: http://www.betasprings.com/DynRegis...fault.aspx A checkbox group mapped to a DNN user field called "DanTestProperty1" which is a Text field. Checking Option one displays a hidden question which works fine. If i come back to the form as a normal user it remembers which check boxes i've selected but doesn't show the hidden question which is fired from selecting Option 1. Can you check it out and let me know if there's a fix for it? Many thanks Dan |

We are rolling out some updates for Dynamic Registration related to some enhancements and fixes shortly and I know this is on our list to verify before its rolled out. I hoping to have this ready by the end of January at the latest.
You have done your part with reproducing the issue on our sandbox site (thank you for that by the way), do I'll make sure that this is tested before we release the update.
