    If a user is not verified and try to login they get this error:

    Login Failed, remember that Passwords are case sensitive

    This is with the correct Username/Password.

    How do we display a information to them about verifying their account?

    Our template has the verification info:

    Email[DNN_TEXT_USERNAME]    
    Password[DNN_TEXT_PASSWORD]    
    Passwords are case sensitive and must be 6-20 characters.[DNN_LABEL_VERIFICATION][DNN_TEXT_VERIFICATION][DNN_CHECKBOX_REMEBER_ME]

    Hi Craig - Well basically you have to make sure that your registration is setup as "Verified" under Admin, Site Settings, for "User Registration". This way they need to be setup so that they are not authorized, otherwise they will never need to be verified. The verification fields are only setup to be displayed whenever the user is suppose to be verified.

    Where can we change what [DNN_LABEL_VERIFICATION] displays?  It adds HTML that we don't want in there.

    Also, is there a way to recover the Verification Code?  Is there a way we can put a link on the login screen to request it again?

    Hi Craig - I think that this is a localized parameter, so this should be in the App_LocalResources directory of the desktopmodules\dynamic login\ I believe.

    You can tell if something is being "Localized" if you enable the setting called "ShowMissingKeys" within DotNetNuke web.config to "True". This should then add an [L] around everything that is coming from a localized variable. Then you can also manage these localized variables under Admin, Languages, Edit Language.

    Hi, I think that the verification code link is sent if they choose a password reminder but otherwise I am not sure that is a feature at all within our module (or within the core DNN Login Module). So you might update the password reminder text. Usually the verification code link is sent after registration (generally with Dynamic Registration or we have our own built in verification system that can also be used if you are using Dynamic Registration).

    Hi Chad,

    Yeah, we are using the Dyn Reg as well.  It gets sent out during registration properly but there is no way of retrieving it if the user loses it or if we mark the user as unauthenticated.

    So, you say there is a way we can use something in the login from Dyn Reg?

    Hi Craig,

    Yes at this point the initial registration verification tokens are only available for initial registration. I guess this hasn't come up before because generally once a user is authorized its not very common that they would become unauthorized.
