pdf export not exporting all data

    Dynamic views is only exporting 21 pages no matter how many rows are sleected.

    The version I am using is:

    2.1.3.17817 / 5.6.3


    How can I get dynamic views to export all the rows when exporting to pdf?

    Hi Steve,

    I haven't heard of this issue but it's best to upgrade to the latest version to make sure you have all the enhancements and fixes. From v2.1, you should be eligible for a 70% discount when you upgrade to Dynamic Views 2.2.     in the process of trying to implement something for the client, that would make the 3rd time purchasing a new version. I have not got this program to work yet.

    It makes no sense to me to tell them they have to purchase the same thing over again and it is an unknown issue - which tells me it is probably not addressed in the new version.

    To be honest, I am regretting using this. Can't we address the issue and see if it is fixed even. How about we get it installed and if it fixes it, then they can purchase it.

    Hi Steve,

    That is strange, and yes I am not sure that there would have been any code changes on that specific area. You are welcome to install the most recent trial version to check though as I know there were some code changes related to the export, at least for Excel.

    As far as this issue, maybe it's related to a specific record that is causing a problem? It only exports what is currently being displayed too, so maybe this is an issue as easy as changing the page size?

    We have not had any other reports of this do that would be my first guess. Does it export those records to Excel ok, is this only a problem in the PDF?

    No, the excel export works. When I increase the number of pages, it chugs for a while and then stops. perhaps it is timing out.

    Yes, thats possible... Maybe you should increase the timeout in your web.config file.

    We are working on new caching methods that might help in the next couple of releases so that might be helpful if the query is really large.
