Excel Export not working quite right

    Hi, When I go to Advanced Features >> View Form Results and click on Export to Excel, the data from each submission is all placed into one cell. I have to save the file as a text file and reopen it in order to get excel to separate out the data. Is there a way to fix that?

    Hi,

    I was thinking that this was fixed with the most recent release but maybe I am wrong. Can you tell me what version of Dynamic Forms you are working on? Do you have this same problem too with Dynamic Views or only Dynamic Forms?

    We are only using Dynamic Forms right now, not Dynamic Views. We're using DNN 5.6 and Dynamic Forms 3.40.41.

    We will be upgrading to 6.x and the latest DF in a few months but I was hoping for a quick solution now.

    Hi. Yes, for now the only really good solution is to save the file as a .TXT or .CSV file and then choose from within excel to Import Data File on a new Excel import file.

    Hi has this been corrected yet? we are on dynamic forms 3.40.50. We have been running it on this installation for some time now and are just now being made aware of it, so it is obviously not something they use alot. I did export his data out for him and sent instructions on how to do it himself, however he did not seem TOO excited about that.

    Hi Brian - Yes, as far as I know this was corrected within the 4.0 and 4.1 releases. The 3.4 release is a few years old at this point so you might want to consider upgrading for full support of this feature as we do not go back and retrofit previous versions of the module when a bug like this is found.
