    Just wondering if anyone has tried or has a solution to allow users to subscribe to email from one dnn instance where the website resides to a separate dnn instance where optin email resides.

    We send out emails we send 2K-50K at a time and we have it working great. When the morning comes and users start opening the emails the Database server pins to 100% capacity and causes the website to timeout.

    In order to avoid these timeouts, I am planning to dedicate a webserver and a database server to optin email. So I need a method to allow users to optin from the company's website which is going to be on another set of servers.

    Hi Franc,

    Yes, you should be able to do this. For existing users, you can simply import them into lists in your new new DNN installation. Then for new users, you can use silent posts to add them to your Opt IN Email.

    Hi Candace, thank you for the quick reply, unfortunately I only have Optin Email and I have no idea where to post those variables or what the variables should be.
    From what I gather, I think I still need to have an Optin Module on regular website, but how does it connect to the instance that will actually process the campaigns?

    Hi Franc,

    If you wanted to do this what you would need to do would be to:

    1. Setup Opt In Email on the site you want to SEND the distributions from.

    2. Setup Dynamic Forms on the site that you want to "ACCEPT" the new Opt In Email subscribers from.

    Then use the Silent Post feature / HTTP Post feature of Dynamic Forms to send out a silent HTTP Post.
