I've got a form where part of it lists the members of a project team and their respective grade levels. Each team may be 2 people or up to 10 people so I can't require all 10 fields and let it go at that.
What I need is to be able to require a response for the grade level when something is entered into the name field. It would be a snap in JavaScript but I don't see that option here and I can't just ignore it as that grade level data is one of the most important data points needed in terms of reporting back to the grant funders.
The only thing I can think of is to have a checkbox for each name and it opens each pair of fields as needed. Really kludgy on very user un-friendly too. Does anyone have a way to do a validation on one field depending on whether there is data in the preceding field?
