DNN Manage button stopped working

    I have put the DS Registration module on two different pages and experience the same thing.  As long as the module isn't on the page, I can get to the "Manage" button link to update the settings for the module on that page.  Once I insert the registration module, the link stops working.  On one page I have just the registration module.  On the other I have a text module and a registration module.  Until I added the registration module, I was able to add content to the text module.  Are there known conflicts between DS and DNN versions on this?  I have tried Safari, IE and Chrome.

    Have same problem. Version:4.1.70.26806
    Recently upgraded to ...did not use Dyn Reg. Module before this..DotNetNuke Version: 6.1.5.
    Have tried all browsers, clear cache, restart, upgrade Java.  DNN Manage Button not active.

    Also, On some pages with DS Module ,Manage Button displays sub-menu (settings, import etc.) but will not enable those actions. Tries "Javascript DNNmodal.show...... (see att screen shot _error#2.png)
    Tried re-installing Module as well. Still not working?



    BTW, also using Dyn. Forms and this module supports the DNN Manage module settings?

    Hi Beth and Ken,

    Are you able to get to Module Configuration? If you are, please try disabling jQuery and Ajax and let me know if this makes a difference for you.

    Hi guys,

    I knew this was previously reported so after researching this a bit more, I found that it is, indeed, a jQuery issue. Here’s a thread that gives more information.:

    We are getting ready to release a new Dynamic Registration version towards the end of May. I’ll check with Chad and hopefully, a fix will be included then, or in the next few patches after that. Thanks!

    I would like to try the approch suggested by Bruce Chapman ie. Script Controller. Can you have someone at DS compile this script with your modules? I believe that this will make your module DNN version agnostic, loading up the correct Jquery scripts , regardless of DNN ver.?

    Hi Ken - Yes, we actually followed that specific Ifinity article/blog from Bruce for our next version of both Dynamic Forms and Dynamic Registration and this should cover us for the future... So we are already referencing this for releases that are scheduled to go out on May 17th (Dynamic Forms) and May 21st )Dynamic Registration).

    I am confused as to why the fix Candace suggested would not be working though as we we have not had any other users report any problems after unchecking the jQuery checkbox and so forth... You might need to utilize FireBug for FireFox and see if there are any other JavaScript errors that are coming up on the page.

    I tried the fix as well. Specifically, I added an HTML module to the page, and placed the script into the HTML module's footer. It didn't resolve it for me, either.

    I'll just wait for the next version of DR, which will resolve it nicely, I understand.
