    Hi, 

    I have the following scenario with my portal set to private and using Dynamic Registration.

    1. User registers which triggers:

    • Thank you letter sent to user
    • Notification to site admin with AutoApprove link in email 

    2. Admin clicks link which authorises users account 

    At this point, an email should be sent to the user notifying them their account is active. 

    I'm able to create this behaviour if the Admin activates the account through the core DNN user profile but can't see how it's done in Dynamic Registration using the scenario above.

    Unfortunately this feature is not currently part of the Dynamic Registration module... I think this would be something we can review in the future but I don't know of a way to handle this now.

    You could possibly create a "Manage User" page and authorize them there (using the Authorize checkbox and passing things such as Manage=True&UserID=$(UserID) along with the option under DNN Core Integration to offer a checkbox as the "Is Authorized" checkbox. So basically the Admin would click the link to go to that page and be in "Manage" mode for that specific userID. They would check the box (which is tied to authorization) and then from there you could setup as many/few completion events as you might want to notify the user.

    Hi Chad,

    That's a shame - not the 'one click' process I was hoping for but still much better than having the admin log in and hunt around for the user (there's going to be quite a few registrations to deal with).
