    I am designing a complex form with many fields in the dynamic forms module.  I thought with the new version 4.1 that you could create your own templates for the forms rather than stick to the grid which is very frustrating and time consuming. 

    Is there any documentation or feature concerning this?  Any suggestions would help tremendously.

    Hi Cynthina,

    Dynamic Forms 4.1 now allows you to create fields within the HTML field type. It's not really a template but allows you to have more freedom with your layout with some HTML skills.

    We are in the process of completing the UserGuide but in the mean time, I found these notes after development that might help:

    New feature allows you to utilize HTML fields and inject/format any HTML form field type you would like. Simply prefix the name of the field with "DFCustom_" and reference that field later for events. Note: These new fields are not stored in the standard method or available for the view results area or editing at this time, however they are available for all email and SQL events.
