export to excel using ie8 on a secure (SSL) form

    I am unable to export form results to excel using IE8 on form pages that are secured with SSL. I get an error message stating: "Internet Explorer cannot download Default.aspx from healthandwelfare.idaho.gov. Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later." I do not have this issue when using Google Chrome or IE9, or when the page is not secured with SSL. Some of our users who need to be able to export results to excel have to use IE8, and these forms have to be on secured pages.
