    Is it possible to have both SMS and Email capabilities in the same portal? If this is possible what are some recommended ways to configure opt-in email to support this functionality.

    Hi Joseph - I do believe that this is possible however unfortunately I think you would need to implement this as two separate module instances.

    Chad, So we'd have one opt-in for email, then another opt-in for SMS. Is that correct? If it will work that is fine with us. Also, is there anything special regarding sending SMS messages? How do the texts actually get sent out? Does the module send them through a special carrier? Thanks!

    Hi Joseph - Yes, you would need two seperate Opt In Email lists. The SMS is still sent as an email but to a specific SMS text carrier depending on the carrier they select.

    For example, here are a couple of the carriers that we have defaulted within the module (the user selects this when the SMS Text is enabled):

    Hi Chad- If I know my customer’ phone numbers and the carrier they are on then I can send emails to their cell phones directly from dynamic form? Is it possible that I pull information by SQL query phone numbers and carrier in combo box fields? Or, the SMS works only work in Opt In Email list. There are no dash on phone number? e.g. 435-555-5555
