Version: Opt In 4.40.10, DNN 6.2.5
I enabled auto link tracking for the first time for a portal that has been using Opt In for a while. They send out a weekly email that includes a link to a resource on their site. They always use the full URL to the resrouce as the content that is linked. Once auto link tracking was enabled, this content (the full URL text) was replaced with the text of the link to be tracked. They tried sending again, and the text came out as Auto: followed by the URL.
Presumably, auto link tracking is searching for strings that start with http:// in the newsletter content and replacing them. Could that be limited to only look for strings that start with href= so that content was left alone?
