Hello I have Dynamic Forms 4.1 xxxx and just upgraded my website to DNN7.002. There is a setting in DF where the form can be set to display a text message when a certain number of the form has been filled out. (example setting is 15 max and 15 people have filled out the form, this message will display). This works fine and has worked while my website was at DNN 6.1.5. What happens is the control panel is no longer displayed when this message displayed. In DNN 6.1.5 was not a problem, because I can access the control panel through the module Manage> Advanced Settings> here the control panel items are accessible.
However, This is not available in DNN7, the Advanced settings are missing. See the screen shots in the pdf I attached. I know DNN7 made some changes to how you access the settings for modules. they divided it out to clicking on different icons rather than a long list under Manage.
I am not sure if this is a DNN issue or a DF issue. Can someone please look into this?
My workaround right now is deleting that module and making a new one. But I have to do this for three different pages every week. It's not fun.
Thanks Tracelyn

Hello Tracelyn, Is this an actual Dynamic Form feature that you have/had enabled? What was the name of the feature? Perhaps you had custom built a routine that would count the # of submissions to your form and disable it if the quota is met? Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Ryan |

Yes, it was a customization that I had done to the module back in June 2012. I have Dynamic Forms version 4.10.3 17528/7.0.2 if that helps. I was under the impression it would be added to the next DF update. Not sure that it was.
It's something Chad worked on and is called Limit Form submissions to a specific number. I attached a doc with screen shots of the item under module settings. You also can set up a message in Layout Header Footer System messages.
I hope this can be fixed!?

I just noticed something else with the DNN module. You can no longer access the link to update your registration of a module. That was also in the admin section. So if I were to update any of the modules I am currently using or add a new one, I am definitely in trouble if I can't register the license and use it.
I have DNN 7.0.0.3.
The original issue has gotten more complicated. I ran into an issue yesterday where I needed to access the module control panel settings on a form with the message showing. The client wanted the number of signups increased so more people could use the form. I couldn't access the control panel and do it. Needless to say they weren't happy.

Hello Tracelyn, This sounds like a real problem with your Dynamic Form and DNN version. In these types of scenarios I would recommend contacting our support team by emailing us at dnnsupport (at) datasprings (dot) com. This way all of our representatives can overlook your issue and address it with you. The forums can take a while to completely resolve issues like this. Please let me know if you have any questions.
