Hide Validation Summary - issues

    I've got two issues with validation here:

    First I've checked "Hide Validation Summary" in the Module Configuration inside Validation Configuration but it still shows on the form.

    Second upon displaying the form it appears it is going through validation as several items show in the summary area.

    The things I can think of that might be firing validation:
    I have some initial java script to hide a two questions.
    One of the questions performs a SQL query to populate it's options.

    Hello Michael,

    Under Validation Configuration, do you have Display Validation Summary Checked as well?

    I know that there's two features in the Validation Configuration section:

    1. Hide Validation Summary checkbox
    2. Display Validation Summary checkbox

    Be sure that the Display Validation Summary checkbox isn't checked, but that the Hide Validation Summary checkbox is checked.

    Attach a screen shot if you can.
