    Hello,

We got the latest version of Dyn Forms, and i'm trying to locate a tutorial or instructions for setting up the ARB.. I didn't notice any tokens in the list box that show duration, start date, etc...

Can i use any of the authorize.net arb tokens or just the one listed? "x_recurring_billing"?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Tony,

I responded to your contact form earlier but let me respond here, too, for those following the thread.

You'll find basic instructions here.  Just note that the short field names must match those listed in this document:

This video tutorial made by a client might also be helpful.  It's showing Dynamic Registration but it works the same way in Dynamic Forms.

Thanks and please let us know if you have other questions.

    Hi Candace,

I read through the doc and the instructions explain how to set up shortfields... and in the video he's using a few additional ones.. not mentioned in the document:

    PGateway: AuthARB
    AuthARB_UserLoginName : 1234login
    AuthARB_TransactionKey : 123456transactionkey

Does that mean I don't need to configure any payment gateway in the module configuration?

I just add these additional shortfields and it works?

I'll try it anyway... and post back.

Doesn't seem to work.. no errors. But I set it up just like the guy using registration (I believe), but nothing happens.

Do I have to still use the gateway settings?

You don't need to add the parameters like the normal Authorize.net settings (x_firstname=$(FirstName), etc.)

Would you please Enable Debug and run a submision? Please send us the resulting string from debug.

    Thanks!

I don't get any debug messages.. but at the bottom of the form it says "Error - User authentication failed due to invalid authentication values" I'm pretty sure my auth.net (sandbox) acct is correct though.. i'll double check and post back if it is not correct.

Nevermind.. it did throw some debug messages.. missed them:

-ARB Note With Errors: a subscription failed with an error

-Arb Response: Reponse returned from ARBError: User authentication failed due to invalid authentication values

-ARB Note: E00007 User authentication failed to invalide authentication values.

    -ARB ERROR Code: Error /net.authorize.api.messagetypemessage[]

Wonder if it doesn't realize i'm using a sandbox account? If so, how do i tell it to if i can't use the normal payment gateway settings? Thanks!

Also, is it possible to use eCheck for the recurring? Are there AuthARB_ fields for that?

Is there documentation available for all of the AuthARB fields that we can use with this new version of Dynamic Forms?

I believe that my current problem (mentioned 2 posts above) is that it doesn't realize i'm using my auth.net sandbox account.. but again I have no idea how to tell it to use the sandbox..

Any help would be appreciated. My customer's donation page is up live, but the ARB is still manual at this point.

    FOLLOW UP:

Chad said you have to use your production auth.net account to test (if you have one)... he said they may include a way to use sandbox for AUTHARB in a future release. This makes testing difficult since most of us developers don't own a production account (at least not me).. But I can use my customer's who this project is for... just have to make sure they void the transactions I do..

Waiting on answer about eCheck AuthARB..

Finally back to this project, still can't get it to work properly. Do you have a working sample somewhere that shows how it works with Dynamic Forms (I saw the video of the registration one, but it must be missing some steps)..

I'm at the point where i'm testing this with a LIVE Auth.net Account (since it won't work with a test account).. but recieving the following errors from Auth.net on the Dynamic Form:

    Errors:
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Trial Occurrences must be less than Total Occurrences.

Name On Bank Account is required.

Total Occurrences must be greater than or equal to 1.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't see a way to set "Trial Occurrences"...

Don't see a way to set the "Name On Bank Account".. (I am populating AuthARB_BillToFirstName & AuthARB_BillToLastName)..

Don't see a way to set the "Total Occurrences"... the Doc I have says I can leave "AuthARB_SubscriptionOccurrences" blank which means the subscription won't end unless customer requests it or cancels..

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is there an updated AUTH.NET ARB document for Dynamic Forms 4.1?

    Thanks,

    Tony

    Hi Tony,

Thank you for logging all of the details here... Although we did add "ECHEck" to the Authorize.net ARB to Dynamic Registration and Dynamic Forms modules, I am not sure we ever actually tested the ECHECK option. I just reviewed the code and it looks like we are setting this specific field "BANK NAME" to be blank instead of allowing a field name. I am going to change this to be able to pull this information in from value called:

    AuthARB_BankName

There are a few other paramters we are default (checking account type, and the ECheck Type which I really would have to research more what that is about, we appear to be defaulting this value to "WEB").

Are you running on the full release or a trial version? Can you please click the "Contact Us" button and mention this forum thread, I would like to setup a go to meeting maybe on Monday to make sure you are all up and running.

    Thanks,

    Chad
